About Us – The Stephen family has been providing Dry Cleaning Services to Calgary since 1962
We are excited to announce our new beginning as Stephen Cleaners. Our new name reflects our true identity of a family owned and operated business. As we all approach a “new normal”, we want our clients to know that we ARE local. We ARE a small business and we ARE family owned & operated. Jack Stephen brought the Martinizing franchise to Calgary in 1962 and his son, Mark Stephen, has been part of the family business since 1984. Jack is now enjoying retirement while Mark and his family operate this second-generation business. In fact, Mark’s wife Amber and children Kelsey, Connor, and Parker are all employed with the family business. The whole family has a passion for helping our clients look their best and building community in both Calgary and Airdrie. We are proud to have our family name on the front door of our stores in Calgary and Airdrie and we are eager for you to come check out our new look.

We will continue to look for new and innovative ways to be better as a company that allow us to provide better service to our clients. We have a willingness to embrace and utilize technology to improve our client experience, quality of our finished product and production capabilities.
We have built our business from the ground up and have a 55-year history of satisfied clients and employees. We are considered leaders in the industry. Stephen Cleaners is excited for the future as we continue to grow and evolve in the dry cleaning business.

What makes us unique? It’s our people. We are in the people business and you need exceptional people to provide exceptional customer service. We are very fortunate to have a fantastic team who have a passion for taking care of our clients. Just to name a few, our of lead dry cleaner, Sheila Lavallee, has been with our company for 31 years. Marlene Lawrence, a customer service manager, has been with our company for 12 years. Another customer service manager, Michele Pruden, has been part of our team for 28 years.
